Tonight Pastor Phil puts the spotlight on Part 2 of Romans Chapter 1, verses 21-25. Sadly men look to themselves, the stars, evolution and other humanistic or atheistic ways to explain why they are here—unfortunately their search is devoid of God. Or what one could consider wise in their own eyes. Trading the truth for "The Lie", and professing to be wise, The Word says that man becomes a fool.
There is a battle for our minds. A spiritual one. And it started in the Garden of Eden, with the serpent and Eve. Those lies are still being believed, as doctrines of demons. As Pastor Phil pointed out, demons do have doctrines or teachings of their own to deceive as many as possible, and it is ramping up!
Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. So if he shared the Gospel there, whomever received it would carry God's Word, and the testimonies of Paul and the work they'd seen done out into the four corners of the world.
Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God.

God calls the Body of Christ to be of one accord, in fellowship, in doctrine and purpose. We are to be of one mind, moving in complete oneness and humility for the kingdom of Heaven.Paul spells out clearly in today's verses (1:27-2:2) to express his hope for the Christians in Philippi and all believers to follow, unity in:1. ‘One spirit’—1:27
2. ‘One mind’—1:27; 2:2
3. ‘Fellowship of the Spirit’—2:1
4. ‘Like-minded’—2:2
5. ‘Same love’—2:2
6. ‘One accord’—2:2The Book of Philippians was written by the Apostle Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome, likely around 61 or 62 AD. It is one of the four 'prison epistles' that Paul penned while in captivity. He counted it a joy to allow God to work everything for his good—even imprisonment. 5-3-23Tonight Pastor Phil puts the spotlight on Romans Chapter 1, verse 20-21. We know from scripture that God is a righteousness, true and just God, and evil will not go unpunished and that He reveals Himself to us in different ways. Prophecy, speaking to us through His Word, revealing Himself to us through Creation, and through the life of His most precious gift. Jesus Christ, The Incarnation... But one thing is certain, sin will be judged, and we need only accept The Gift that God offers through His Son.As Pastor Phil described previously, Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. It is one of the four 'prison epistles' that Paul penned while in captivity.
