Jesus, the Old Testament prophets, and many of the disciples warned of a false teacher, and world leader to come. In this section of scripture, the Apostle John describes a “a beast coming up out of the earth”, this world leader will speak eloquently and men will be drawn to him.

 

He will be the enemy of all souls—but he will appeal to the hearts of the earth-dwellers. Those who are dead-set on NOT following the One and only True God… The God of the Bible Who laid down His life for them… Sadly, the anti-christ will be revealed in a shocking way and men’s eyes will be opened when he demands that all bow down and worship him.

 

Whom would you choose to follow? Are you a Jesus-follower or an earth-dweller? Lord help all those who remain on the earth after the Rapture… As true believers, we must equip ourselves with the Word of God and stand firm on His promises, and reach as many people as we can with The Gospel. Check out Ephesians 6 on being equipped in these last days.
