Good Evening Calvary Family,

 

I have some good news! After speaking with Pastor Jeff Deane, we will be renting their church building until the Elk Grove Park District building (the Jack A Claes Pavilion) reopens the first week in July (hopefully).

 

The church is called: Revive Church and the address is: 10040 Grand Avenue, Franklin Park. (map below)

We will have our normal services at 8:15 and 10:15 AM.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study will continue to be livestreamed only (and not an in-person study until further notice).

We will not have any childcare or Sunday School until further notice. Children are welcome in the sanctuary as long as they sit with their parents and remain quiet.

 

There is a fellowship hall close to the main sanctuary with tables, chairs and speakers thru which the worship and message can be listened to where families with young children can sit with their parents if you prefer.

 

We feel the time has come to have services in person once again instead of only doing the livestreaming where you watch from home. We will continue to livestream the services if you prefer to stay home for a while longer until you’re comfortable coming back to church.

 

We encourage you to wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at our in-person services—at least for the time being.

 

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don’t come to church if you are not feeling well (coughing, fever, running nose or if you have any other symptoms that indicate you have anything that can be contagious). Also, if you have come in close contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive, please don’t come back to church for 14 days.

 

I realize that for some of you this location is further than what you’re used to, but it will only be for a few weeks. I think the blessing of seeing everyone in person outweighs the inconvenience—but again, we will be livestreaming the 10:15 Service if you prefer to watch from home.
