We are taking extra measures for cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring distancing. This will include: 1. Hand sanitizing stations 2. Maintaining adequate spacing between families and individuals to ensure the proper health safeguards. 3. Since we are meeting inside, all furniture items including bathrooms and other rooms will be well-cleaned before services.
Pastor Phil would like to remind everyone that even though masks are optional in our sanctuary suite, everyone is to please wear their face masks in all public areas of our building, including in the hallways and the restrooms. This has been requested by the building management.
Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a hugging congregation, but we ask that you continue to maintain safe distance practices as recommended by the CDC and IL Dept of Health. This includes hugging, shaking hands, fist pumps, etc. (This is only for a time, and Lord willing we will back to greeting one another with a holy hug).
We are now offering infant/toddler ministry on Sunday mornings for both services, and Sunday School for the 10:30 AM Service only. Children are to remain with their parents/guardians when not in their respective classrooms. We ask that parents provide a snack and toys for their child(ren) for safety purposes.
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, numbness or chills we ask that you not attend services, and continue to enjoy Church from home. Our 10:30 AM Sunday Service and Wednesday Study at 7 PM will be livestreamed on Facebook and Youtube. http://www.facebook.com/CCEGVillage http://www.youtube.com/c/ccelkgrove
If you, or someone in your household have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please remain at home for at least 14 days. Those 65 and older or who are more at-risk because of health concerns, you are welcome to come as you feel led, but some of you may feel more comfortable and safer watching the livestream from home.
We encourage attendees cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or by using the inside of your elbow. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed immediately. CDC guidelines recommend hand-washing with soap and water for 20 seconds.
We encourage everyone to exercise good hand hygiene with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
At the close of each service we will be dismissing everyone to enjoy the day and to ensure that the facility is cleaned thoroughly between services. If you wish to volunteer to assist in this process, please speak to one of the assistant pastors.
