Calvary Chapel In-Person Meeting Guidelines

2020 Vision For The Heartland Outreach

I want to invite everyone to a special outreach we are sponsoring on Saturday, July 18th.
Pastor and Evangelist Mike Macintosh will be coming out and sharing at The Gazebo at the Jack A. Claes Pavilion located at 1000 Wellington Avenue, in Elk Grove Village, IL.
The outreach will begin at 6 PM with worship, followed by a timely message from Pastor Mike concerning God’s love for the American people during this time of national crisis and uncertainty.
Mike has traveled the world preaching the gospel and has been given a special message from The Lord which he will be taking to the Heartland of our nation this summer. The outreach is called “2020 Vision for the Heartland”.
This is an outside venue so grab a blanket or a lawn chair and come join us for an evening of worship and a special uplifting message from the Lord.
For more information about the outreach or if you have any questions, please visit the Outreach Event website at:

Below are some guidelines/information as per CDC/ILDPH recommendations.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. All those desiring to attend in-person services will be required to complete a pre-screening checklist and waiver form.
We are taking extra measures for cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring distancing. This will include: 1. Hand sanitizing stations 2. Maintaining adequate spacing between families and individuals to ensure the proper health safeguards. 3. Since we are meeting inside, all furniture items including bathrooms and other rooms will be well-cleaned before services.
The wearing of masks is encouraged. There will be a table with masks available for anyone that may need or desire one, however, we have a limited amount! If you have your own, you are encouraged to bring it. Note: Per CDC guidelines, cloth face coverings should not be placed on children younger than 2 years old.
Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a hugging congregation, but we ask that you continue to maintain safe distance practices as recommended by the CDC and IL Dept of Health. This includes hugging, shaking hands, fist pumps, etc. (This is only for a time, and Lord willing we will back to greeting one another with a holy hug).
We will not have any childcare or Sunday School until further notice. Children are welcome in the sanctuary as long as they sit with their parents and remain quiet. There is also a fellowship hall close to the main sanctuary with tables, chairs and speakers thru which the worship and message can be listened to where families with young children can sit with their parents if you prefer. We will keep you informed when this will change. Please keep children with you at all times. We wish it were different, but we are making every effort to keep everyone safe.
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, numbness or chills we ask that you not attend services, and continue to enjoy Church from home. Our 10:15 AM Service will be livestreamed on Facebook Live and Youtube.
If you, or someone in your household have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please remain at home for at least 14 days. Those 65 and older or who are more at-risk because of health concerns, you are welcome to come as you feel led, but some of you may feel more comfortable and safer watching the livestream from home.
We encourage attendees cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or by using the inside of your elbow. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed immediately. CDC guidelines recommend hand-washing with soap and water for 20 seconds.
We encourage everyone to exercise good hand hygiene with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Parking will be available in the parking lot outside of the building. There is overflow parking across the street from the church. IMPORTANT NOTE: Grand Avenue is a busy road, so please keep a close eye on traffic and your children at all times.
At the close of each service we will be dismissing everyone to enjoy the day and to ensure that the facility is cleaned thoroughly. If you wish to volunteer to assist in this process, please speak to Cyndi Ballmaier or one of the assistant pastors. We ask that you please maintain safe distancing during this time.
