Calvary Chapel In-Person Meeting Guidelines

Below are some guidelines/information as per CDC/ILDPH recommendations.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. All those desiring to attend in-person services will be required to complete a pre-screening checklist and waiver form.

We are taking extra measures for cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring distancing. This will include: 1. Hand sanitizing stations 2. Maintaining adequate spacing between families and individuals to ensure the proper health safeguards. 3. Since we are meeting inside, all furniture items including bathrooms and other rooms will be well-cleaned before services.
After a meeting with the recreational facility, as of 7/24 we MUST wear face coverings at all times when we are in the building. This includes in the sanctuary, hallways, bathrooms, etc. This new mandate applies to anyone over the age of 2. If you are unable to comply for health reasons, please join us for services and bible study via livestream. For complete details click here.
Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a hugging congregation, but we ask that you continue to maintain safe distance practices as recommended by the CDC and IL Dept of Health. This includes hugging, shaking hands, fist pumps, etc. (This is only for a time, and Lord willing we will back to greeting one another with a holy hug).
We will be having children's ministry for Wednesday Evening Bible Study beginning 8/19/20. We hope to have Sunday School beginning this weekend, and will include information here when it has been finalized. Children are welcome in the sanctuary as long as they sit with their parents and remain quiet. Please keep children with you at all times. We wish it were different, but we are making every effort to keep everyone safe.
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, numbness or chills we ask that you not attend services, and continue to enjoy Church from home. Our 10:15 AM Service will be livestreamed on Facebook Live and Youtube.
If you, or someone in your household have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please remain at home for at least 14 days. Those 65 and older or who are more at-risk because of health concerns, you are welcome to come as you feel led, but some of you may feel more comfortable and safer watching the livestream from home.
We encourage attendees cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or by using the inside of your elbow. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed immediately. CDC guidelines recommend hand-washing with soap and water for 20 seconds.
We encourage everyone to exercise good hand hygiene with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
At the close of each service we will be dismissing everyone to enjoy the day and to ensure that the facility is cleaned thoroughly between services. If you wish to volunteer to assist in this process, please speak to one of the assistant pastors.
