If the Lord wakes you up in the middle of the night… Pray!
Prayers for God’s perfect protection upon him and the team, and for even more opportunities to share the Gospel with everyone they meet along the way.
They are set to land in Chicago, straight from Brussels tomorrow (8/24) at 12:30 PM.
God gave Frank an opportunity to each once again on Sunday, and its’ the first in-person Church service they’ve held in quite some time… May all of the seeds that were planted grow! And for all of the believers there to be encouraged and build up in their faith.

The Lord opened the door for Pastor Frank to teach on Sunday, and its the first in-person Church service they’ve had in quite some time…
The Lord brought a young lady named Belieze into Frank’s path. She had been helping out the team.
Belieze told Frank that at dinner on Friday she prayed and received Jesus for the first time during one of the Gospel Necklace messages. (she is on the left), Benitha is on the right.
She asked for a Gospel necklace so that she could tell others about the saving faith of Jesus Christ! Our God is alive and at work in Rwanda!

From Pastor Frank:
Interesting traveling during these times. A surreal experience going through the airports and having to “show my papers;” literally; regarding negative tests and passenger locator documents, through our European connecting flight and Rwanda.
There is a curfew in place, that everyone has to be at home and off the roads at 8:00 pm.
Our teaching time starts today. We had a practice run of our presentation of salvation necklaces and a puppet show about growing as a child of God; with some of the street boys that come to the Hope For Children office for assistance. Six or seven boys prayed to receive JESUS, for the first time today. Please pray that the prayers were genuine and that the seed fell on good soil.
The boys did practice some verses they are being taught at Hope for Children.

Please pray for upcoming teaching times with the children. Pray for open hearts. Sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the message that I will be giving on Sunday at the English service at 8:00 am Rwanda Time (August 22nd at 1:00 AM Chicago time)

The team has to once again be tested 72 hours before the return flight(s) to the States. Please pray that everyone’s tests return negative.
Flights depart on 8/23rd (Lord Willing)
Returning on 8/24 direct from Kigali to Brussels, Brussels to O’Hare

Please lift the following up as praises and prayer requests.
Lots of people ride bicycles as their means of transportation and moving supplies.
Praise: guy riding a bike who hit the vehicle we were in today appears to have been uninsured.
I found out yesterday that the airline said I never made flight to Brussels so my return flight was canceled.
Praise: issue has been resolved.
Prayer requests:
Travel arrangements have changed:
Flights have changed. Now just 2 flights.
Flight to Washington D.C. has been canceled. We are flying direct to O’Hare from Brussels
Pray for Grace as lord of plans are changing day by day.
May HIS plans be the ones that come about.
It looks like we will be able to meet at the church on Sunday. Please pray for the LORD’s anointing on the message and that HE would speak to me and throughout me.
I have attached photos of our meeting with the some of the children and their families that are sponsored through Hope for Children ministries. The little girl sitting with me is Bigael. She is the little girl that I sponsor. I will send some more photos of the bikes in a separate email.

The 2021 Rwanda Team has arrived in Kigali! However, one of the team members, 30 minutes before landing began to feel ill. They were checked out by the medical team and it was determined that it may be due to dehydration. We pray that is certainly the case, so please lift up Cheryl as she continues to recover.
Lengthy flights can be tough physically on the body. May The Lord continue to strengthen and build up the Team both physically and spiritually as they hit the ground running…

As many of you know, Pastor Frank will be leaving for his missions trip to Kigali, Rwanda on August 12th through August 24th. We have put together a daily prayer guide for our Church family to use and share.
