    Christian Divination-Part 2
    Pastor Phil Ballmaier
    Book of I Samuel

Pastor Phil continues Part 2 on the topic of spiritism.

There is no doubt that everyone is searching for answers to the big question—who am I, and why am I here? Unfortunately man has a propensity to turn to unbiblical practices, with the impression that 'anything spiritual—is better than nothing'. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Biblical truth.

Some even turn to mediums or eastern practices to find answers. Beware - this is territory you do not want to meander into! King Saul is so adamantly opposed to seeking after God that he turns to a medium in En Dor for answers.

The Bible expressly warns us to flee from such practices.

38. 2 Samuel 21:1-2 A Promise is a Promise-Pt1 5-14-17

2 Samuel 21:1-2
A Promise Is A Promise-Part 1
Pastor Phil Ballmaier
5-14-17

The Book of 2 Samuel chronicles David’s rise to power as Israel’s second, and possibly greatest king in their history. His reign covered forty years (seven in Hebron over the tribe of Judah; and thirty-three years as king over all of Israel). David’s reign, although glorious, wasn’t free from controversy and shame. His sin with Bathsheba, the rebellion in his own family with regard to Absalom and his numbering of the people leading to God’s judgment were a few of the darker events of David’s later years as king.

Approximately half of the book tells of King David’s success and the other half shows his failures. Overall the Holy Spirit lifts David up in the pages of Scripture as a man after God’s heart—a man who loved God and never worshiped an idol. And as such he became the standard the Lord used to judge all the other kings of Israel and Judah by—the degree to which “they walked in the steps of their father David.”

Special Message - God's Word-The Treasure of Truth
Pastor Phil Ballmaier
Matthew 13:51-52
5-7-17

Join Pastor Phil as he expands on the message presented by Dr. House about running our race in Christ.

In the second service video, Pastor Phil shares a moving account of the Kimyal Tribe in Indonesia, receiving the New Testament in their native language for the very first time. Be sure to check out the video at: https://vimeo.com/216523403

May this stir up both an renewed desire and passion and love for God's Word, unparalleled to us in our past and a fresh outpouring of God's Spirit to have a deepened desire for His Word..

Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a non-denominational fellowship located in Elk Grove Village, a northwest suburb of Chicago in Illinois.

Our primary mission is to teach God's Word in its' entirety, verse-by-verse, precept upon precept. We believe that the Word of God is living and powerful, and because of Jesus' work on the Cross, He can and does move in the lives of His people.

If you are searching for in-depth studies be sure to check out our channel here on Youtube, as well as our complete audio library on our Media site, www.DayByDayRadio.org.

May God bless and guide you as you seek to know Him more fully -- or meet Him for the first time.

SM-The Foundation of Our Faith (9-20-15)

"SM-The Foundation of Our Faith (9-20-15)". Genre: Christian Teaching.

Join us as Pastor Phil discusses how we can walk confidently knowing that the Word of God is sufficient for building the firm foundation of our faith, with Jesus as our Chief Cornerstone.

In a world that continually tries to sway and manipulate, and degrade the power of God's Word in our life, Pastor Phil lays out the Four Elements that remind us it is the power of God to work in our life. The Foundation is build on:

    1. The Inspiration of Scripture
    2. The Perfect Word of God (Inerrant)
    3. The Infallible Word of God; and
    4. The Sufficiency of God's Word

    Let's listen.
