When Jesus approached John the Baptist, and asked to be baptized,
it must’ve been a humbling experience for John.

Did Jesus have to or need to be baptized? No, He did it as an example for us.

When we choose to be baptized, we are declaring to the world, “I am yours Lord!”

Do you know why we believe in full immersion baptism?
It’s symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Death and burial of our sins, our old life; and when we rise up out of the water—
we are resurrected into a new life in Christ!

This is our personal declaration and testimony to the world —
that the former things have passed away,
and we are choosing to proclaim our faith before men…

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

Even if you have already been baptized yourself,
won’t you consider coming out to show love and support for those who are?
